I've found it well balance ,low acid with nice body,sweet fruite subtle wiht tobacco. I roasted slightly darker and tried as SO espresso. The cup was very nice , smooth , balance very easy to drink. The aftertaste was like brandy. I'm not sure this would represent generic Nic. or not. It's my first time with this coffee. I just had Nicaraguan today.It’s very interesting. It was good but not great so much so I prefer any generic Nicaraguan more. Also, I don't think it's fair to compare Carmen estate to Esmeralda as the latter is from Geisha while the former is not.
